Barret School of Banking

Background: 38 years in existence/formerly Mid South School of Banking. Large endowment allows tuition subsidies of approximately $1600 per student. Bankers from more than 20 states have attended.

Education

Outstanding and innovative curriculum. Superb faculty including nationally known speakers in the industry. One week per year for three years, 128 total hours of classroom time, 8 home study assignments, 9 on-campus case studies.

Lecture Series

Featuring nationally distinguished speaker – Sam Donaldson (2009). Past speakers include Coach Tony Dungy, Lou Dobbs, Newt Gingrich, Coach Mike Krzyzewski, and Dr. Stephen Covey.

Tuition

Among lowest in the industry ($995 tuition – $1275 with housing). Approximately 1/3 of the cost of other banking schools at LSU, SMU, Wisconsin, and Colorado.

Convenience

One-week resident session means employees spend less time away from the job. Centrally located for easy transportation access.
